The tenant committee is elected every spring and has a tenure of a year.
The administrative tasks of the tenant committee include meetings, monitoring the observance of rules and regulations of the housing company, and managing common property that is lent to tenants. The tasks also include commenting on the HOAS budget and drawing up proposals and statements associated with it, and tasks associated with the tenant activities, such as the monitoring of spending and the submission of an account of the spending to HOAS.
Our tenant committee has a meeting nearly every month. All residents of Juustenintie 3 are welcome to attend such meetings. In order to give your opinions or submit activity proposals, you don’t have to be a member of the tenant committee.
The tenant committee has access to plenty of equipment acquired with collective money, which residents can borrow. Contact details for tenant committee members can be found on the Contact Us page of this site and also on the notice boards.
All residents are welcome to attend parties and other events organized by the tenant committee. New friends and doing things together are the best part of tenant activities. The activities are shaped by the participants and each tenant committee has its own “thing”. In addition, doing things together is fun.
